BABYLON FALLING CLOSING ITS DOORS
“After two short years in business Babylon Falling will be closing its doors for good at the end of June 2009. This is the official announcement of a decision that was made less than a month ago.”

“Discipline above all else. I refuse to watch Babylon Falling limp to a slow death. So with a twinge of sadness–but nevertheless with my head up– I’ve decided to close the store. This marks the death of one store and does not foretell the death of an industry, nor is it to be taken as a sign of anything other than bad timing and shallow pockets.”

We are sad to see Babylon Falling go. More so, because the spirit of revolution found here on one sunny day, about a year ago, triggered the first spark of inspiration that led to the beginning of Big Up Magazine. Life of revolutions is short but full of great moments, achievements and changes. Babylon Falling achieved a lot in its two years of life, the most important being the creation of a community-based ground for the thought, inspiration, and creativity. The store might go, but the people will stay, charged with the energy and newly-found potential for greatness. Big up Sean and everyone involved with the store. I’m sure you’re off to even bigger things!
