SCION HOUSE PARTY AFTERMATH – KODE9 & SPACEAPE, MARTYN, 12TH PLANET

Big Up agent in LA, a.k.a. Crystal G, reports from last night’s Scion House Party:

“Big Up to all involved in last night’s Scion House Party! It was definately the place to be if you were in Los Angeles. “The Roxy” was pressed to the max and the vibe was weighty and electric all around! Bossman, 12th Planet, opened up with a savage set, keeping us all in check, while Martyn’s sexy, house induced set made the crowd boogie down and stay there.

Spaceape’s spectacle on the mic, through his poetic and silky flow held the crowd tight, like a hug from boa constricter, hypnotizing and paralyzing. From the start of Kode9’s set, it felt like a slap on the rear end, and oh so good. His well-rounded selections caused major pressure in the atmosphere, and spurred numerous frenzies of lighters in the air, bringing the night to an end with a refreshing (and much needed) old school jungle set, that took us back and to attention.

I don’t know if it was a full moon or what last night, but inside was like a whole-nutha-dimension. It was massive, major, and you’re for sure pissed if you missed it. Trust!”
