ALBERTO SEVESO

alberto

Italian-born Alberto Seveso is a man of few words. But his illustrations speak for him louder than anything else I’ve seen in a long time. In the age of digital art an computer illustrations filled with immitations and heavily “photoshopped” images, Alberto’s work stands alone as a manifest of original minimalistic style, fluid tastefull sensuality, striking beauty, and outstanding mastership. The man is a true artist.

interview by Katya Guseva

Love the selection of music on your site! What role does music play in your creative process?

I like music very much, and personally I find it a major source of inspiration, because I try to convey what I feel in what I do.

What are the things or moments in time that shaped your artistic taste?

The world I live in, people, music, nature, air, sea, sand, rain… Life itself forms the people and the artistic tastes, and there aren’t tutorials that teach these things.

What needs to happen for you to consider yourself an accomplished artist?

A small room at MoMA, with a bathroom and a coffee maker!
