Interview by Kenichi Tanaka and Emily Miller
How would you describe your art in five words?

Black, Clear, Eternity, Fantasy, Lifeforce.

Do you remember the moment when you first did something creative?

When I was in first year of elementary school, we went to see some pigs that lived near the school during class. After I got home, I began drawing a pig that I remembered. As I was painting it over and over again, the paper got too soggy and it made me sad.

What was the biggest challenge on the way to being a professional artist?

I don’t think there was a particular turning point or breakthrough. But the feeling of “Daily Challenge” is getting stronger every year. It might also be a challenge to create a balanced lifestyle and work effectively. It’s a daily thing for me.
