MRK1 (Contagious 20)
Dec. 17, by SUNe

Dubelek
They say every great track takes the listener someplace. You’re gonna want to live in the world of Dubelek. Here, MRK1 flexes his technical sophistication and issues deep, electric opulence. The bass wobbles between scuzzy, fierce, and fluid. Elements of the atmosphere are ethereal. The drums are strong. It all comes together to form a pulsing drive that is very sexy. This is no cookie-cutter tune. If they don’t move to this, they’re dead.
Borderline (Instrumental)
The B side of this release is a technical journey. The tune has the potential to fit into a great set, but only as a filler. It’s just not that memorable. It’s also lacking in sparkle. I take it the mastering engineer didn’t see too much here either.
